The Alabama Youth Justice Coalition invites you to attend a community forum to learn about how over one thousand kids are tried as adults in Alabama each year. Together, we can make sure children are offered opportunities for redemption and rehabilitation in the justice system. Parents, students, community members, and those who care about juvenile justice issues are welcome. We want to hear your stories and ideas!
The Alabama Youth Justice Coalition, a group of advocates, attorneys, lobbyists, and stakeholders across the state who are committed to creating a fairer and more just juvenile system, has been working to influence the state's juvenile justice task force to adopt meaningful reform.
Dinner and refreshments will be provided.
