Werk The Lege is a legislative advocacy training program for everyday Alabamians who want to learn about and engage in Alabama’s legislative process. In a series of virtual Zoom sessions, our team will highlight and present on topics that are urgent for Alabamians to know.
In our February 5 session, we will discuss the Alabama Legislature and how it operates. Throughout this shared learning experience, we will center the work and expertise of organizers and advocates leading the fight for criminal justice reform, first amendment rights, voting rights, and reproductive justice.
