Join us for a day of service in Selma and let's pour into the community that has given so much to Alabama!
The ACLU of Alabama and JGS Construction are coming together for a day of service the day before the Annual Bridge Crossing Jubilee. Join us on Saturday, March 8 to assist with home repair for a Foot Soldier in the Selma, AL community.
If you plan to attend, we recommend:
- Wearing protective clothing, including long pants, work gloves, and sturdy, thick-soled shoes. JGS Construction will have some extra gloves as well.
- Bringing a face mask to protect yourself from dust and debris (ACLU of Alabama will provide face masks).
- Using sunscreen and insect repellant.
- Bringing water and snacks (ACLU of Alabama will be providing water and lunch)
Round-trip transportation from Montgomery will be provided, but seating is limited. The deadline for registration is Monday, March 3rd. If you need any accommodations, please email [email protected].
