Whether you're looking to learn, share your vision, or find a supportive community, BQVS is the place to be. Help us shape a brighter future for Black queer communities in Alabama!

Open to All Black Queer Alabamians

BQVS is a space for ALL Black LGBTQ+ Alabamians– no requirements, no expectations, no barriers to entry. If you’re Black, LGBTQ+, and call Alabama home, this space is yours. We welcome trans, nonbinary, GNC, bi, pan, questioning, ALL identities under the LGBTQ+/queer umbrella to attend. Whether you’re a leader, organizer, student, educator, creative, parent, or just looking for people who get it, you belong here.  

To help eliminate barriers and encourage folks to show up fully present for this unique experience, the ACLU of Alabama and TKO Society are providing the following to all attendees:
